Wreaths Across America
The Paul Carrington Chapter has proudly supports the Wreaths Across America program for the past several years. We have donated thousands of dollars for the purchase of hundreds of wreaths. Members have annually attended the Wreaths Across America ceremony honoring our fallen veterans at the Houston National Cemetery. Afterwards, we helped to lay 48,000 wreaths at the grave sites of of our veterans.
The next Wreaths Across America ceremony will be held on December 13, 2025. Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you. SPECIAL MATCHING CAMPAIGN
From December 14, 2024 through January 17, 2025, all wreath sponsorships made through the Paul Carrington Chapter’s WAA website will be matched, one for one. This is an excellent opportunity for you to make an end-of-the-year charitable contribution, double your impact, and honor our fallen veterans, all at the same time!
Clean Up Day
As important as it is for people to come out and place wreaths out in December, it is equally important for people to come out and clean up the cemetery in January. Members of the public are asked to go to the Houston National Cemetery on January 11, 2025 and help remove all of the wreaths that were placed on the headstones in December.
